A scene from above Gjógv, taking in the impossibly green hills, still marked by the glaciers that shaped them, and the view to the ocean and neighbouring islands.
A choir member glanced back at the camera as I took this photograph at the St Olav’s Day ceremonies. The overcast sky and occasional shower of rain did nothing to the colour and joy of the day.
Strolling down a road just off the motroway at Belmont, England, near Durham, I spotted this Banksy effort [or copy?] sprayed on the wall of a service shed near the shopping development. Nice to have a brush with fame!
