A choir member glanced back at the camera as I took this photograph at the St Olav’s Day ceremonies. The overcast sky and occasional shower of rain did nothing to the colour and joy of the day.
Strolling down a road just off the motroway at Belmont, England, near Durham, I spotted this Banksy effort [or copy?] sprayed on the wall of a service shed near the shopping development. Nice to have a brush with fame!
in England we were fortunate to be out and about on the annual festival day with brass bands playing Madness songs as well as old standards, the sun shining, and the streets thronging with people.
