A choir member glanced back at the camera as I took this photograph at the St Olav’s Day ceremonies. The overcast sky and occasional shower of rain did nothing to the colour and joy of the day.

Here’s a handsome animal we found grazing next to a memorial atop a little hill in Torshavn. It was a gloomy, windy and wet day, but our ovine companion didn’t seem bothered!
